Student Admission Guidelines

Each course of study has different requirements for the admission process. The common eligibility criteria for Indian students include a minimum English language requirement and a minimum academic record of 65%. For postgraduate entry, the student's arrears history is also considered.

The actual requirements may vary among the universities at the time of application. Generally, the GRE and GMAT are not mandatory requirements for Australia; however, some universities and business schools may insist on them on a case-by-case basis.

The applicant needs to submit several documents to the university, including attested scanned copies of mark sheets, work experience letters, letters of reference, resumes, English language test scores, identity proof, etc.

Study in Australia: Student VISA Procedure

#Student Visa Australia (Subclass 500)

The Student Visa (subclass 500) allows you to stay in Australia to study full-time at a recognized educational institution. This visa requires the student to have been accepted to study full-time at an educational institution in Australia and to have organized appropriate welfare arrangements for the duration of the intended stay in Australia if they are under 18 years of age. Eligible family members can accompany you to Australia. This visa allows you to stay in Australia for the duration of your course.
#Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485)
The Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) is for international students who have recently graduated from an Australian educational institution. This visa allows you to live, study, and work in Australia after completing your course of study for a period ranging between 18 months and 4 years. You and others covered by this visa must be in Australia when you apply as the main applicant. The temporary graduate visa has two streams:

Graduate Work Stream

You can stay for a period of 18 months on this stream. In the case of the graduate work stream, you must have completed the skills assessment.

Post-Study Work Stream

When you apply for a temporary graduate visa, the duration can vary from 2 to 8 years, depending on the highest qualification you have used to apply for it.

Only an eligible degree-level qualification will be considered for a Subclass 485 visa under the post-study work stream. An eligible degree-level qualification is:
