Is there any University ranking in Australia? |
| |
There is no universally accepted ranking system in Australia for the universities. In Australia there are only 38 Universities mostly funded by government. Every university has its own specialized faculties where there is no need for ranking. Hence the students have to decide based on the city and the specialization, which they intend to do. |

When is the intake? |
| |
Generally the major intakes are in the month of February and July every year. But there are few courses like MBA and Hotel Management, which has intakes in the month of October and April but the seats are subject to availability |

Is IELTS and TOEFL are required? |
| |
The Australian Universities accepts IELTS or TOEFL but the high commission requires IELTS to be one of the criteria for stepping into Australia |

Is GRE, GMAT required for admission? |
| |
Apart from the Academic marks the only requirement for any course is IELTS. Hence the students need not do GRE, GMAT |

What is the eligibility for admission? |
| |
For Certificate, diploma and bachelors course minimum of 12th std is considered. For masters by course work, appropriate bachelors and work experience required. For research the students should have appropriate bachelors, a research proposal and brief resume. With all the academics IELTS /Toefl score as prescribed by the University is necessary |

Is there any age limit to apply for higher education in Australia? |

As such there are no age limits for applying to the University for admission. |

How much is it going to cost for the living as a student in Australia? |
| |
It is going to cost approximately 10000 - 12000 AUD per year |

When I have to pay my fees and where? |
| |
The tuition fee can be paid before getting PVA to secure your seat in the University/Institute or after getting PVA (Pre Visa Approval). It has to be paid to the University. Usually one semester at a time. |

Do I need visa to take up the course and where I have to apply for it? |
| |
Yes, to study in Australia the students should apply for the student visa at Australian High Commission, New Delhi |

Is there any interview I have to go through for visa? |
| |
There are no personal interviews. Only the documents consisting of your academics and financial standing will be submitted to the Australian High Commission for the visa approval. We at baasu will do all the needful process to get the visa in your doorstep. |

Can I use educational loan for my studies in Australia? |
| |

Can I work while I study? |
| |
Yes the students can work part time for 20 hrs during weekdays and fulltime during the semester breaks. There is no restriction like only on campus; students can work anywhere they want. |

How long I will get the visa for? |

Your visa will be for the duration of the course you proposed to study in Australia |

Where I have to stay when I reach there? |
| |
Most of the universities provide accommodation in halls of residence/hostels but other options like private houses/apartments, home stay with Australian family, etc are also available.
If the students are interested they can stay with other students or with their friends by sharing in an apartment |

Will you help us in the part time jobs? |
| |
WE provide guidance for finding the job? As the part jobs are provided based on the individual performance, the student has to go for an interview with the employer to get that finalized. We also have tie ups with Student Services International which helps in getting the part time jobs. Please contact our nearest office to get know more. |

What can I take with me? |
| |
As students you are bound to the general rules of the quarantine department of Australia. You are not allowed to take dairy products, seeds, animal skin etc, But you can carry all the necessary cloths, utensils, books, footwear, beddings etc. |

Can I get credit for my previous education? |
| |
Yes you can get, credits are given to the eligible students. The student has to get the syllabus of the particular study from the university to get the credit, the Australian university will access both and decide on the credit levels. |

Is there any campus placement available in the university? |
| |
There is no campus placement assured for international students for the work visa reasons but the university has exclusive student services unit where they guide the students in preparation of resume and personality development etc required for the job offers |

If you have condition 8206 labeled in your visa, you must remain enrolled for at least the first 12 months of your program or the duration of the program if this is less than 12 months. |
